We’re delighted to introduce our newest shopping option: OdysseyCraftworks on Etsy! Etsy is “the indie Amazon of handcrafted items, vintage treasures, and craft supplies” and now we’re there, too. Etsy has a lot of features and fun ways to discover new artists. If you’re on Etsy, you can follow our shop to be notified of our new products when they come out.
We’re pleased to officially announce our newest and shiniest affiliate/subsidiary/child project: Mithros Designs.
Mithros Designs is dedicated to creating meaningful jewelry inspired by history, designed for wearability, and infused with deliberate expression. These designs will reflect influences from diverse cultures, religions, and periods of history but all with a focus on having jewelry designed to be worn everyday as a touchstone for high ideals, cherished connections, and the many expressions of spiritual journeys. The majority of our designs are in silver, though we will have some special pieces in gold. We’re also developing an affordable pewter line.
We are first and foremost operating as a wholesale design company, so for the general public some of our designs will only be available in stores or through specific merchants or organizations. We will have some “open edition” lines available for retail purchase through our website or when we set up at events. If your organization or company would like a custom piece or exclusive line, we’d love to help you bring that dream into reality.
Here’s a little sample of what we’ve created…
The Goddess of Infinite Love pendant serves as a reminder that love is not a finite resource in the Universe. As Juliet says in Shakespeare’s play, “My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.”
Sometimes called the faery star or elven star, the Septegram is a seven-pointed star used by many traditions to symbolize many things, but always it is a symbol of magical possibilities beyond the expected.
